This garage was formerly a carriage house, and was built to match the Second Empire style house it serves. The garage retains much of its original detailing, including two pairs of doors with their original hinge straps. Like its house, the garage also features Mansard roof with a bracketed lower cornice and simple upper cornice. Also like the house, the garage features a pair of dormers with hood moldings. The original roofing material has been replaced with asphalt shingle, and the windows are one-over-one double hung replacements.
