The house is of frame construction and clad in white-painted wood clapboard with asphalt shingle roofing. The roof has a bracketed lower cornice and simple upper cornice topped by a wrought iron cresting. The wrap-around porch is supported by spindle posts with vine brackets and has a delicate spindle balustrade. The windows are one-over-one double hung replacements, except for the original two-over-two arched windows on the third floor.  Interior brick chimneys feature at the north and south elevations.
