9/27/2022 – Boat Building and Boat Yards of Long Island Presentation

Please join us on Tuesday, September 27th at 7pm at Islip Library for a presentation on “Boat Building and Boat Yards of Long Island,” director Nancy Solomon’s latest book.

From the North to the South Shores and out to the East End, Long Island was and remains home to a nationally recognized and historic boat building industry. This legacy includes the string of America’s Cup champions from Islip Hamlet in the 1880 and 1890s.
