Back by popular demand, Joan Hodges, African American quilter and fiber artist, will lead another workshop for those interested in learning to quilt. In this workshop the participants will make one large quilt, which each participant designing and stitching their own square. Examples will be provided, and the final quilt will be displayed at the library for long term viewing. Joan is the recipient of a NY State Council on the Arts’ fellowship award. Come join us!
Participants should bring the following: basic sewing kit, pins and quilting needles, a portable sewing machine if they have it, scissors, seam ripper, rotary cutters, and mat
