The Shinnecock Cultural Resources Department is dedicated to preserving and protecting the cultural heritage, environment, traditions, and language of the Shinnecock Tribe. They aim to pass down knowledge and instill pride in tribal heritage through intergenerational teaching and collaboration with various departments and organizations. By learning, living, and sharing their culture, the Shinnecock Tribe seeks healing, resilience, and strength in the face of historical oppression and modern challenges, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
