2-3 pm at the Half Hollow Hills Library 55 Vanderbilt Pkwy, Dix Hills, NY 11746
In this presentation Nancy Solomon examines two communities: West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook, and the bungalows of Far Rockaway. The presentation examines the reasons the bungalows were created, the architectural designs of these bungalows, and why one community survived and the other was demolished.
