Nritya Saagaram Dance Academy in Long Island, New York, is a prestigious institution founded by Satya Pradeep, offering Bharata Natyam and Kuchipudi training. With a background in traditional Chennai training and guidance from renowned gurus, Satya Pradeep has not only performed extensively but also conducted educational programs and workshops. Her teaching emphasizes cultural awareness and discipline. Nritya Saagaram, meaning ‘Ocean of Dance’ in Sanskrit, embodies the school’s devotion to dance. Since its establishment in 1991, the academy has nurtured over 50 graduates following the Guru-Shishya tradition, instilling both artistic and personal development in its students, fostering cultural appreciation, discipline, and character.
Donation: $20 per person
Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Family and Children Association of Long Island, that provides help and hope to Long Island’s most vulnerable children, families, seniors and communities.
