In honor of Native American Heritage Month, Ina McNeil will be delivering a lecture with a demonstration on traditional Native quilts. The lecture will also touch upon other art forms like beadwork and storytelling. Ina McNeil, a descendant of Chief Sitting Bull, learned quilting as a teenager to stay warm during harsh winters and continues this tradition by creating quilts to commemorate significant life events and achievements. The event is free and open to all, offering a unique opportunity to learn about and appreciate Native American culture through artistry.
